Signature collaborators
Collaborator Terms
Effective Approved for launch • Version 2026-10 • Effective on public activation date
These terms govern participation as a selected Clubhouse Sites signature-template collaborator. Version 2026-10 has been approved for launch and becomes effective on the date public collaborator enrollment is activated.
1. Selection and participation
Submitting an application does not guarantee selection. Clubhouse Sites may accept, decline, pause, or end a proposed collaboration before launch.
A collaborator must be at least 18 years old. If the featured creator is aged 13–17, the creator's parent or legal guardian must be the applicant, approve participation, control the related affiliate account, and authorize use of the creator's name and likeness. Creators under 13 are not eligible.
2. Collaboration process
If selected, the collaborator may provide design preferences, audience context, examples, feedback, and approvals. Clubhouse Sites remains responsible for the final implementation, technical decisions, product compatibility, accessibility, and maintainability of the template.
A design is not considered approved until the collaborator confirms the designated preview or approval step provided by Clubhouse Sites.
3. Name, likeness and supplied assets
The collaborator grants Clubhouse Sites permission to use the collaborator's approved name, social handle, biography, photo, logo, likeness, and other supplied branding solely to create, promote, display, and operate the collaborator's signature template, co-branded landing page, program materials, and related Clubhouse Sites marketing.
The collaborator represents that they have the right to provide and authorize use of all submitted assets and that those assets do not knowingly infringe another person's intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
For a creator aged 13–17, the parent or legal guardian must specifically authorize use of the minor's approved name, image, likeness, and supplied materials.
4. Template ownership and license
Unless separately agreed in writing, Clubhouse Sites owns the underlying website template, code, layout system, reusable components, derivative design system, and product implementation created through the collaboration.
The collaborator retains ownership of the collaborator's pre-existing name, likeness, logos, trademarks, photos, and other pre-existing materials.
Clubhouse Sites may adapt, improve, reuse, and continue offering the underlying template design after the collaboration ends. The license to use the collaborator's name, likeness, logo, and other personal branding lasts while the collaboration is active and for a reasonable wind-down period afterward to remove or update existing materials. Clubhouse Sites may then remove or retire the collaborator's name, likeness, and co-branding while retaining the underlying design and technical implementation.
5. Promotion and affiliate compensation
Launch posts, Stories, Reels, walkthroughs, or similar promotional content are optional unless a specific written collaboration agreement identifies them as required deliverables. If required, that agreement should specify the platform, quantity, timing, disclosure requirements, and approval process. Unless specifically agreed otherwise, participation in the signature-template collaboration does not create an employment relationship, agency relationship, or guaranteed promotional fee.
Approved collaborators may participate in the Clubhouse Sites affiliate program and earn commissions on valid customers attributed to their tracking link under the Affiliate Program Terms.
There is no automatic royalty or commission merely because another customer chooses or uses the signature template without being attributed through the collaborator's affiliate link.
6. Endorsement disclosures
Whenever the collaborator promotes Clubhouse Sites or shares an affiliate link, the collaborator must clearly disclose the paid affiliate relationship in a way that is easy for the audience to notice and understand.
The collaborator may share personal opinions and experiences but may not make false, misleading, unsupported, or guaranteed claims about Clubhouse Sites or likely customer results.
7. Review, removal and termination
Either party may end the collaboration. Clubhouse Sites may also pause or remove collaborator branding where reasonably necessary because of legal concerns, rights disputes, policy violations, fraud, reputational risk, inactivity, or a material breach.
After termination, Clubhouse Sites may discontinue use of the collaborator's active co-branding and retire the collaborator name from the gallery while retaining the underlying template design and technical implementation as described above.
8. No exclusivity unless separately agreed
Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, the collaboration is non-exclusive. The collaborator may work with other companies, and Clubhouse Sites may work with other creators and may offer templates with similar functional features.
9. Privacy and application retention
Collaborator application information, communications, design feedback, email-delivery records, and affiliate/payout data are handled as described in the Clubhouse Sites Privacy Policy.
Applications from collaborators who are not selected may be retained for up to 24 months for program administration, re-contact, dispute prevention, and audit purposes, after which they will be deleted or de-identified unless longer retention is required by law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved informally will be handled in an appropriate state or federal court located in California.
